Ensure that all disaster survivors receive equal access to disaster assistance by: Process civil rights complaints including fact findings/investigation, research and drafting findings
Serve as a subject matter expert and providing technical advice and guidance regarding Civil Rights and equity requirements, laws, status, regulations, and executions actions, including the Civil Rights Act 1964 and the rehabilitation act
Do the demographics and at-risk communities’ analyses
Ensure all materials are provided in the appropriate languages
Do site inspections including direct housings and PA site inspections
Community engagement and outreach to minority communities, meet local organization leaders
Attend community meetings
Work closely with IA, PA, DSA, DIA, logs, etc.
