Provide supportive services to nurses and staff as required, while performing designated duties.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans and established policies.
- Aid residents in lifting, turning, moving, and transporting them safely.
- Coordinate dining room services during assigned meal times, including set-up, clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation.
- Deliver nutritional supplements to residents at scheduled times and document intake accordingly.
- Weigh residents per facility policy, record their weight, and report any changes to the nurse and supervisor.
- Monitor residents' skin conditions, reporting any issues to the nurse and supervisor.
- Assist nursing staff with toileting program activities.
- Complete daily flow sheets to document task completion and resident progress.
- Keep the nurse and supervisor informed of factors that may affect task performance.
- Report any changes in resident conditions to the nurse and supervisor.

Assisting residents with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, toileting, bathing, and exercising.
- Facilitating the transfer of residents in and out of bed or wheelchair with the appropriate transfer equipment.
- Recording vital signs, nourishment logs, and other relevant patient records as necessary.
- Maintaining an organized and fully stocked bedside unit.
- Changing linens, making beds, and ensuring resident rooms are kept tidy.
- Responding promptly to all call lights.
- Contributing to the assurance of maximum quality of life for all residents by maintaining their privacy, accommodating individual preferences, promoting independence, and consistently encouraging participation in facility activities and events while communicating respectfully.
- Ensuring continuous communication with the team leader.
