Accomplishments

During my nursing clinical, I was chosen for three semesters for the Florence Nightingale Award. This award was given to the student that skills were most similar to Florence Nightingale's.

I also graduated with Honors and a 4.0 GPA.

Affiliations

I am affiliated with the Methodist Charlton Family Practice Residential Clinic.

Six residents are chosen each year by the Faculty of Doctors to complete the last three years of their residency. The LVN is responsible for helping the residents learn the daily routine of patient care in a Family Practice setting. For example, placing orders electronically, running ancillary tests, being their chaperone for exams, managing a fast past clinic, and familiarizing them with how a clinic run on a daily basis.
