  • Writing and providing detailed instructions on 'workarounds' (mapping) as needed for current applications if a defect is found that cannot immediately be fixed.
  • SQL searches, used to update and retrieve information from our database.
  • When a new build goes live, I must report to our super-user any issues that we have with this build and assist with determining the cause for this issue, we then meet to decide the priority level of this issue and what action can be taken to correct the issue.
  • Performing UAT (user acceptance testing) anytime there is a new build to determine if the user would experience any issues when running the application.
  • Working with programming in scrum meetings (time boxed to 15 minutes) and assisting with sprint testing.
  • The Relational Database Management System that we use is called Connect, which uses SQL to access the database.
  • I assist with new builds and managing of our applications.

  • Entering comments into legacy mainframe as to the reason the warrants were returned, this information was located on the envelope.
  • Contacted the claimants via telephone, email, or letter, to attempt to verify their correct mailing address.
  • After obtaining the new address, if one is available, I would then change the address in the legacy system and remail the warrant.
  • If unable to obtain a new address the warrant is sent over to the comptroller's office to be voided.
  • Process requests for duplicate warrants.
  • When a warrant has been voided because we were unable to obtain a correct mailing address and the claimant calls requesting their warrant be remailed, we must issue a request to the comptroller's office for a duplicate warrant.
  • If the claimant calls and requests their warrant and we find that the warrant has been cashed, we must submit paperwork to the comptroller's office requesting photocopies of the warrant.
  • Once that information is received, we then forward it to the claimant.
  • When a claimant receives unemployment, they are mailed a 1099-G form, which must be used when filing their taxes with IRS.
  • When a claimant notifies our department that they have not received their 1099-G forms, we must process a request through legacy mainframe requesting a duplicate form be mailed to the claimant.
  • Provide monthly detailed reports indicating the reason for warrants being returned.
