With over 16 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, personnel administration, employee relations, compliance, and office management, I have developed a strong foundation in supporting organizational success through effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship building. Throughout my career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, I have coordinated recruitment and onboarding efforts, managed personnel actions, ensured policy compliance, maintained confidential records, and provided guidance to both management and employees on a wide range of workforce matters.
My experience has strengthened my ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage competing priorities, and maintain professionalism while serving diverse groups of people. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive workplace culture built on trust, accountability, and teamwork.
I believe these skills would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department. My background in administration, personnel coordination, and community service would enable me to support the department’s mission while helping strengthen internal operations, improve communication, and promote a positive and collaborative environment. As someone who values service, integrity, and community involvement, I would be honored to contribute my skills and experience to an organization dedicated to protecting and serving others.
I have a strong passion for serving others and strengthening my community. Whether through my Human Resources career, church ministry, volunteer work, or supporting community events, I have always looked for opportunities to help people and make a positive impact. I believe community service is about building relationships, meeting needs, and being someone others can depend on when they need support.” Thank you for this opportunity
