I am a Trauma Registrar with a total of 9 years of experience, 5 years at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, and 4 years of experience at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center. Proficient in ICD-10-CM coding, and data analysis. Committed to continuous learning, I actively participate in professional development, ensuring adherence to required education hours to improve my data collection and knowledge of changes and challenges within the registry, both statewide and on the national level. I have strong communication skills and excel at teamwork, with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new information and coding rules, while bringing a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to learning and growth. Able to identify trauma patients for inclusion in the registry that meet ACS criteria. Completed the Registry Course, ICD-10 Coding, and AIS 2015.

I strive to keep the pediatric charts within 30 days of completion, and I am always willing to help with adult charts while understaffed and with an ever-increasing patient load. Able to produce reports for performance improvement, and still learning every day. Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks with a positive attitude. Willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. I am also willing to produce reports for research if needed.
