Began foster care for children with medical complexities and siblings. Adopted 2 of our children over the past 8 years. One of which passed away from complications of his medical history, The other is still in our family, prayerfully for many more years.

I no longer am a foster parent as of Nov 2024.

As a parent of children with medical needs, I transport to doctor appts, attend school meetings, feed, bath, educate, assist with daily living and treat as my biological children.

Provided day to day care for our elderly gentleman who served our country.

Shaved and bathed the men, cooked and provided meals as well as fed them when needed. Passed out medication and provided basic medical care, cleaned home, transported on shopping trips.

Generally, loved and treated them as I would want to be treated if I were in their position.

• Assisted teachers in implementing individualized education plans for students with diverse learning needs.
• Supported classroom management by reinforcing positive behavior and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborated with educators to adapt instructional materials for students requiring additional support.
• Monitored student progress during lessons, providing immediate feedback and assistance as needed.
• Participated in professional development workshops to enhance skills in special education strategies and techniques.
• Oversaw students in classroom and common areas to monitor, enforce rules, and support lead teacher.
• Monitored student classroom and outdoors activities to promote student safety.
• Maintained a safe and inclusive learning environment by addressing behavioral issues promptly and following established protocols.
• Participated in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices within the field of special education.
