
I am very interested in the management position being offered at my place of work, Sullivan's Steakhouse. I love being in the hospitality business and am passionate about giving guests the best dining experience they possibly can have. I have been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and I have exceptional knowledge in customer service and fine dining. I am a positive, happy, and upbeat person with an outgoing personality. I am all about teamwork, having a productive and enjoyable work environment, along with being organized and clean. I am very keen to detail. I am able to handle multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy. I am also a fast learner with any new skills that are offered to me. I think I would be beneficial as a manager at the Sullivan's Steakhouse in Anchorage. I was born and raised in Alaska, with my family owning several restaurants in my late teens. I am very active and love being outdoors, experiencing fun activities with my family and friends, and enjoying what nature has to offer. I have four children, with one still in high school. Being a mother has been the most rewarding and loving experience. It has also taught me patience, compassion, and loyalty.
-Greet guests with a positive, friendly and outgoing manner.
-Explanation and Knowledge of cocktails, wine and food menu along with offering wine pairing recommendations.
-Provide excellent, attentive and friendly food and beverage service to guests.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
-Establish trustworthy relationships with all employees and give 100% teamwork effort.
-Set up banquet tables according to event specifications and layout designs.
-Greet guests upon arrival and provide assistance throughout the event.
-Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' inquiries and requests.
-Serve food and beverages promptly to guests during events and functions.
-Work together with all captains, co-workers, and a partner you are designated to. Give 100% teamwork effort.
-Complete all breakdown duties of the event, making sure everything is clean and put away.
