As a recent graduate of radiologic technology, I’ve gained a solid foundation in imaging techniques such as X-rays and CT scans. During my studies, I was trained in patient care, radiation safety, and the importance of accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning. I completed clinical rotations that provided hands-on experience in various healthcare settings, where I worked alongside experienced technologists and radiologists to ensure the highest standard of care for patients.
Throughout my education, I developed a strong interest in expanding my skill set, particularly in MRI and mammography. I am especially excited about MRI, with its ability to provide detailed soft tissue images without the use of radiation, and I see a lot of potential in contributing to early disease detection. Mammography also piques my interest as an essential tool in breast cancer screening, and I am committed to learning more to help in the fight against this disease.
Looking ahead, I’m eager to continue my professional development through certification programs in both MRI and mammography. I am motivated by the prospect of working with advanced technologies and making a direct impact on patient care, whether through early disease detection or providing critical imaging in a clinical setting. I’m excited to grow in my career and take on the challenges that come with specializing in these areas.
