Review of HACCP and other plant records; ensuring results are recorded in a timely manner; implement and maintain HACCP based food safety plans
Ensuring that all Food Safety Programs are adhered to daily
Audits the production lines, allergen change overs, labels
Employee Trainer for Food Safety, Food Defense, GMP Policy, Allergen Policy, HACCP, Food Safety Culture, Intentional Adulteration, Allergen CCP, Pre-op, etc
Assist with “out of specifications” root cause analysis and corrective action investigations.
Work on projects as detailed and requested by QA Management
Assigns tasks, as needed to sanitation personnel
Monitors and trains Quality Assurance Technicians on quality programs to ensure they have knowledge and ability to perform job duties.
Inspect/release new or repaired equipment before food use
Work order releases
QA of incoming materials and finished product - COA sign offs and investigation
Inspects and investigates foreign material findings
Assists finished product label verification and approval; knowledgeable of labelling and NLEA rules and regulations
Handles the provided customer ingredients
As backup SQF Practitioner is responsible for implementation and maintenance of SQF program; Performs SQF verifications
Performs Internal audits as team member as scheduled to promote continuous improvement
Responsible for providing support to promote food safety culture throughout the organization, the empowerment of our employees, establish and implement critical controls that help monitor risks.
Committed to the continuous improvement of the food safety management system.
Maintain documentation, communication between senior management and employees.
Report all food safety and regulatory issues and or suspicious activity.
