I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, where I graduated as the second-ranked student in my undergraduate program and the top-ranked student in my master’s program. During my bachelor’s studies, I focused on developing a strong foundation in physics while also learning programming languages and scientific software, and I completed a project on particle waves transmission.
For my master’s research, I specialized in condensed matter physics. My thesis, titled Acoustic Wave Propagation in Two-Dimensional Fractured Porous Media, led to a publication in Physical Review E.
Following my master’s degree, I began pursuing a Ph.D. in Biophysics at the University of Tehran, where I gained experience with molecular dynamics software such as LAMMPS, NAMD, GROMACS, and others. My research primarily involved NAMD, and my doctoral project focused on the Interaction of Selected Compounds with a SARS-CoV-2 Transmembrane Protein Channel: A Computational Approach.
Subsequently, I continued my Ph.D. studies at Arizona State University, where I am currently working on Drug Screening for the Flpp3 Protein as a Virulence Determinant in Francisella tularensis and conducting structural analysis using NMR techniques.
