- I am currently doing a research under Prof. Rochelle Buffenstein about the dampened inflammatory response in naked mole rats when exposed to proinflammatory factors.
- Have learnt the techniques of western blotting, collecting tissue samples from the naked mole rats and handling them.

- Feed naked mole rats and Damaraland rats.
- Change dirty cages , check temperature and humidity.
- Inject rats with antibiotics or euthanize them when needed.
- Check for pregnancies/ newborns / deaths.
