Provided direct nursing care for all patients in every level of care with a minimum census of 12 to a maximum of 22. Intake, daily assessments, medication management for PHP and IOP clients, medication compliance, daily UA/lab reviews and overseeing all medical concerns and arranging appointments outside of mental health. Trained medication techs, completed CARF weekly audits, provided training in deescalation of patients in psychosis. Collaborated with psychiatrists to develop comprehensive care plans addressing each patients' individual needs and goals.

Managed a team of nurses and resident assistants that operated two-six bed dual diagnosis substance recovery houses. Provided staff with monthly training, hired and trained new staff, weekly JACHO auditing, scheduling and incident reporting/training. Provided direct patient care to all residents in both homes including physician appointments, CIWA/COWS during detox, medication reconciliation, routine care and nursing assessments.

Worked in a psychiatric hospital, observing, assisted in deescalating patients, direct line of watch, monitoring patient's vital signs, and keeping patients free from harm. Worked in the oncology and ICU unit at CMH in assisting patients with bedside care and monitoring for changes in condition. Reported and documented all care in hospital's EMR.
