- Knowing that a statistically significant relationship exists between variables is useful in many ways
- Causality shows that one variable directly effects a change in the other (2020)
- If we calculate R2 (R-squared), which is 0.1328, this means that only 13.28% of variation in the predictor variable (height) is explained by the response variable (weight)
- This means that the two variables are related but no causal relationship can be established between the two
