Facilitated patient assessments to determine rehabilitation needs and goals for the following areas:

• Vestibular Specialist - Evaluated and treated patients with a variety of peripheral and central vestibular disorders including vestibular schwannoma, ototoxicity, Meniere's disease, Mal de Débarquement Syndrome (MdDS), vestibular hypofunction, vestibular neuritis, vestibular labyrinthitis, persistent and acute BPPV, Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome (SCDS), and PPPD.
• Neuro Specialist - Evaluated and treated patients with acute and chronic CVA, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Cerebral Palsy, concussion (mTBI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Becker's muscular dystrophy, meningioma, Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), ataxia, and balance disorders.
• Coordinated care plans with multidisciplinary teams made up of Occupational therapists, Speech Therapists, and Care coordinators, for optimal patient outcomes.
• Educated patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and resources available.
• Met expectations for productivity by and became fluent in Epic EMR for all insurances and worker's compensation cases.

• Evaluated and treated patients with chronic back and neck pain by utilizing manual techniques, therapeutic activities, and education on pain science in young adults and geriatric patients.
• Led in-service on BFR treatment protocols for arthritis, athletes, post op patients, and chronic pain patients.
• Became fluent in A2C EMR.

• Orthopedics: Evaluated and treated patients with chronic, acute, and post-operative orthopedic disorders including joint replacement of hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder, cervical and lumbar fusion, and ligament repairs for all ages and activity levels.
• Workers' Compensation injuries: Evaluated and treated patients who were injured on the job. Created rehabilitation programs to return to work safely. Communicated with referring providers and completed documentation efficiently so care was not limited by authorization difficulties.
• Led in-service on Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, enhancing strengthening protocols for diverse patient populations.
• Streamlined patient documentation processes by gaining proficiency in QuickEMR software.

• Directed gait and transfer training, evaluated, treated, and created discharge plans for patients in an acute critical care hospital population.
• Collaborated with physicians, case managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and PT techs to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including working with Numotion representatives to secure customized wheelchairs.
• Educated amputees on maintenance of residual limb, phantom limb pain, ambulation, exercise, and wound dressing.
