Gregory Tessier

Mr. Tessier has over 30 years of experience conducting remedial investigation and remediation projects, primarily at Air Force and Navy installations in California. Has served as project manager, field operations and construction manager and SSHO under Compliance Restoration, MMRP, and CERCLA programs. Has worked on sites with contaminants including petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents, UXO, and PFAS. Excels in planning and executing complex field programs to ensure efficient and safe execution.

Fallbrook Remedial Investigation (RI) MRP Site UXO-6 and UXO-8. Duties included field operations manager for vegetative removal, geophysical surveys, draining Depot Lake for excavation of surface and subsurface MEC removal, incremental soil and sediment sampling, surface water and pore-water sampling and biological surveys.

Alameda Point NSW Site 14. RI for Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances. Duties included construction quality control manager (CQC-M) and site safety and health manager (SSHO) for HSA well drilling and installation and PFAS sampling.

Concord NWS Site 29. RI/FS. Duties included construction quality control manager (CQC-M) and site safety and health manager (SSHO) for sonic well drilling and installation of 17 monitoring wells and 15 multi-nested soil gas wells.

MCAS Yuma AZ CERCLA AOC-8A. Implementation Plan/Cost Estimate Remedy Optimization. Duties included field operations manager for EM-31 and IR/P geophysical studies, investigative potholing, terra-core sampling at 209 locations; soil gas and hydropunch sampling at 50 locations.

NAS Fallon NV. Remedial Design/Remedial Action Sites 1 and 14 Southern Operable Unit. Duties included site supervisor for dig and haul of fuel and lead-contaminated sites and removal of free product after soil removal.

1989-2020 USAF Edwards AFB. RI/FS and Remediation Projects under Multiple Contracts including PBR. Duties included project manager, field operations manager and SSHO for program at over 300 sites within 10 Operable Units with total budgets exceeding $300M. Studies include soil sampling, well drilling, soil, soil gas, and water sampling, aquifer testing, soil excavation of fuel contaminated and chemical warfare materiel, installation of soil vapor extraction and pump and treat systems, insitu bioremediation and insitu chemical oxidation treatments in groundwater plumes contaminated with chlorinated solvents and petroleum hydrocarbons, installation of landfill caps, free-product skimming, vapor intrusion studies, and seismic surveys.
