I have owned and operated my own firework stand. Starting at the age of 13 as I’m Native American. I learned at 10 how to operate a day and and owned my own at 13. I had to build my stand, go to wholesale and purchase inventory, then stock my stand. I had to use math to determine how much to sell my fireworks for to make a profit and make sure all bills were paid. Had to make sure there was enough inventory to last the season without having too much inventory left over and not make enough profit. Also worked the stand selling my product every day from open to close. Which gives me lots of customer service skills, math skills, management skills.
