PVHS Girls lacrosse:

I played on the girl's lacrosse school team at Palos Verdes High School for 3 consecutive years on JV and 1 continued year on Varsity. During my junior year I was JV team captain.

La select club girls lacrosse:

This is a local girls club lacrosse team where we practice multiple times throughout the week for 2 hour periods. We attend tournaments and games throughout the year and season. I played 1 year, my senior year of high school.

South end Racquet and Health club:

Before I was old enough to apply for a job I had volunteered here at this summer camp, my summer going into 9th grade, my summer going 10th grade as well as the summer going into 11th grade with a total of 148 volunteer hours.

CSF: California Scholarship Federation:

This is a program you have to apply to get into, and throughout the year to gain active membership students are required to complete volunteer services and donations. I participated during my Junior and Senior year.

NEHS: National English Honors Society:

This is a program that you need to apply to get into. There are assignments throughout the year to complete and volunteer activities/donations. I participated in this my Junior and Senior year.

Avalon dental care:

I volunteered here before I was able to get legally paid. I worked at the front desk of a dental office

freshman and sophomore year with a total of 36 volunteer hours. My responsibilities were to greet patients, filing, doing paperwork, organizing and any help that the office manager needed.

Link crew:

This is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout their first year of their high school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, Link Crew trains members of the junior and senior classes to be Link Leaders. As positive role models, Link Leaders are motivators, leaders and teachers who help guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success. The Link Crew high school transition program provides the structure for freshmen to receive support and guidance from juniors and seniors who have been through the challenges that high school poses, and understand that the transition to a larger school can sometimes be overwhelming. I participated in this my junior and senior year. I was assigned my own group of 6 freshmen with my partner. I’m here as support for them if they ever need it and throughout the year I check in with my group.

Volunteering at the LA county voting polls:

I volunteered at the voting polls for the past 2024 election as a student election poll worker. I attended multiple days of voting at the vote center located at Ridgecrest Intermediate School. I got paid and was also given volunteer hours. The hours range to about 11 hours per day for 3 days. One day ranges to 15 hours with a 37 total volunteer hours.

National Honors society:

An organization/program that recognizes students for areas of leadership, scholarship, service and character. It’s selective and must meet specific requirements and point systems to get accepted into. I participated my senior year and I am obligated to attend meetings, provide donations and complete 10 community service hours per semester to maintain membership.
