I have also had the privelage to work along side Customs Border Protection hand in hand helping CBP agents perform their duties which included a variety of different tasks such as searched incoming vehicles for banned items or illegal substances as well as completed security checks for incoming and outgoing passengers. I also had the privelage to work with Border Patrol agents which duties included operating a long range FLIR high performance camera and comunicating directly with agents on the ground.
