Our client is looking for a Medical Biller with experience in aging reports, status claims, insurance accounts receivables and strong knowledge of billing terminology. Location: Flint, MI/Swartz Creek, MI

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Shift/Hours: Available to work Monday &ndash; Friday 8am to 5pm

Job duties may include:

<ul>
	<li>Knowledge of CMS documentation guidelines, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS.</li>
	<li>Access carrier websites for claim status and verification of coverage.</li>
	<li>Review encounters for correct level of service, physician documentation and proper CPT and ICD-10 CM assignment.</li>
	<li>Knowledge of insurance and governmental programs, regulations and billing processes.</li>
	<li>Works with&nbsp;physicians to resolve coding issues.</li>
	<li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, patients, third party payers and all customers.</li>
	<li>Monitor account receivable reports, identify trends, research and appeal denied claims.</li>
	<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>

Job Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
	<li>One year&nbsp;of professional medical billing experience</li>
	<li>Associates Degree preferred</li>
	<li>EMR system experience</li>
	<li>Proficient in the use of ICD-10 and CPT coding materials.</li>
	<li>Knowledge of coding policies and procedures, reimbursement practices</li>
	<li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.</li>
	<li>Ability to use computer, calculators and other equipment.</li>
