Tatenda Mumanyi

As I reflect on my journey, I'm reminded of the countless ways God has lovingly guided me to serve others. My passion for helping others is rooted in my faith, and I believe that every interaction is an opportunity to demonstrate God's love.

As a Resident Advisor, I envision creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive community at Lange Hall. I long to be a source of comfort, guidance, and encouragement to my fellow residents, many of whom may be navigating challenging times. My goal is to provide a listening ear, a helping hand, and a compassionate heart, just as God has done for me.

I'm excited about the prospect of serving in this role, not just as a leader, but as a servant-leader who seeks to empower and uplift others. I'm confident that my love for God, my passion for serving others, and my leadership experience make me a strong fit for this position.

As a former Head of Events and Senior Dorm Prefect, I'm grateful for the opportunities I had to lead and serve. I learned to juggle multiple responsibilities, think on my feet, and bring people together. Whether it was planning a school concert, mediating a dorm dispute, or simply being a listening ear for a friend, I discovered the value of hard work, empathy, and teamwork. Those experiences shaped me into the person I am today, and I'm excited to carry those lessons forward as I navigate university life.
