Constructed a boutique training operation to cater to discerning equestrians of all ages in the hunter, jumper, equitation and pony divisions. Developed personalized training for horse and rider, traveling and competing at national-level competitions, originating in Central Pennsylvania, and now in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois..

Developed and implemented ecommerce marketing strategies to increase website traffic. Supervised creation of marketing materials and collateral. Evaluated marketing personnel and offered constructive feedback on ways to improve.

Assisted head trainer in exercising animals, assisted in training clients in practice and competition setting, prepared diets for animals, administered medications, assisted in daily equine husbandry care.

Managed a stable of 30 horses and ponies along with staff and assistant trainers for 3 separate clients. Coordinated routine Veterinary and Blacksmith visits, Sourced and ordered high quality feeds and constructed customized diets suited for each individual animal, organized daily work schedules for staff and equines. Administered oral, topical, injectable medications as needed. Assisted vet by scrubbing joint areas in preparation for joint injections, assisted with ultrasound and x-rays. Evaluated, assessed and recorded mental and physical soundness of each animal. Organized local and international transportation for animals. Maintained records for each individual animal.

Lead and assisted with own and fellow MSc and PhD candidate research trials within laboratory and in the experimental field. Data entry, statistical analysis, slide reading (HL slides) and recording. Performed ethological analysis, soundness and welfare monitoring of trail animals. Collected samples (blood, fecal, organ) as per specific trail protocols. Culled sick, and injured animals where necessary and sent for necropsy examination. Assisted professor and PhD student in implementing first year veterinary medicine laboratory classes.

Contributed to animal research data pool by collecting and organizing information from swine sources (saliva (cortisol), ultrasound data-pregnancy), performed and recorded health, welfare and behavior assessments. Extracted data from pre-recorded 24 hour video footage, recorded and analyzed.
