Participated in Center for the Homeless: Dancing With Our Stars Miracle Auction, 2023. I was given the opportunity to attend this event that is hosted once a year in honor of those individuals who are homeless and fundraising for a good cause. I participated in a dance that 4 women, 4 men were involved and we performed live in front of thousands of people at the Hilton Garden Inn. This was such a memorable night, not only to enjoy myself but also network with other people from the South Bend Area.
Participated in Common Good Practicum Course, Holy Cross College Village Dujarie House—Intergenerational Accompaniment, Notre Dame, IN. I was given the opportunity to to accompany senior residents of Dujarie House. I created endless relationships and positivity shared throughout my time during this site placement. I helped assist with Bingo, walks, games, conversations, and organizing. This course took place in the fall of 2023.
