As a recent nursing graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University, I am eager to apply the clinical experience, passion for patient care, and dedication to learning in a challenging and dynamic environment such as the ICU.
During the clinical rotations, I gained valuable experience in various healthcare settings, honing the skills and knowledge acquired to provide high-quality patient care. The rotations included Medical Surgical and II at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Pediatrics at Sunshine Children's Home, Obstetrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Psychiatric Nursing at Westchester Medical Center. These experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in diverse and fast-paced environments.
Pace university's rigorous nursing program has provided a solid educational background equipped with a strong understanding of the nursing profession, including a solid foundation in critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and effective communication. I am a certified Basic Life Support provider through the American Heart Association, ensuring that I am well-prepared to respond to emergency situations and contribute to the safety of patients.
What sets me apart is my combination of qualities, including being caring, compassionate, charismatic, and goal-oriented. I am a team player who thrives in collaborative environments, and I am driven to exceed expectations and contribute positively to the healthcare team. My adaptability and eagerness to learn make me confident in my ability to quickly integrate into the ICU setting and excel in delivering exceptional patient care.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and enthusiasm to the ICU at NYU LANGONE. I am confident that my passion for nursing and commitment to excellence align with the values of your institution. I would welcome the chance to further discuss how my background and skills make me a strong fit for this position.
