Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
I originate from a predominantly Deaf family, with both my mother and father being Deaf. This upbringing has afforded me the chance to become bilingual in English and American Sign Language (ASL). This linguistic proficiency is not only beneficial for communicating with my family and friends but also advantageous due to our proximity to a thriving Deaf community. For me, this aspect of my identity holds great significance as it has profoundly shaped who I am today and has broadened the spectrum of opportunities within the job market.
During the hockey off-season, I find myself in a unique position of balancing my passion for the sport with the practicalities of seeking employment. While the break from competitive play allows for reflection and rejuvenation, I am actively engaged in pursuing opportunities beyond the rink. I am dedicated to securing meaningful employment that aligns with my skills and interests. Despite the temporary shift in focus, hockey remains an integral part of my identity, fueling my determination and work ethic both on and off the ice. With each stride on the rink and every application submitted, I am driven by the pursuit of excellence in both arenas of life.
