Friendly and reliable customer service while working at Benedict's Market. I continue to develop plenty of time management and social skills while working here; I enjoy the people and the environment. We all get along, even on rough days; it's easy to communicate and get through the day efficiently, and still throw in some fun.
A big thing for me is relationships with my co-workers; I want a happy and healthy experience at work, no matter where I am. I will always admit my mistakes and communicate with others in a professional manner if they happen to make mistakes, too.
I have volunteered at 2 places in the last 5 years, Fort Bridger State Historic Site, and Riverton High school in Riverton Wyoming.
While working with Fort Bridger, I would do a very wide variety of tasks; some days I would be identifying artifacts at dig sites, while other days I would be dressed up as a Mountain Man leading tours and playing games with the children. I still help out in Fort Bridger whenever I can. I Usually go help with the Annual Fort Bridger Rendezvous. It is a full week of shops, historic reenactments, food and fun.
While I was perusing my running career at Central Wyoming College I also worked with the High School athletic trainer for the year, I would help with practices, help injured kids, and learn overall care when it came to physical theropy.
From middle school up until my sophomore year of college I was perusing my running career. Running was a huge part in my life for the last 9 years. High school was when I really kicked off and started to love what I was doing.
As a junior my team won our schools first ever Cross Country Championship, I was all state in 2 of my 4 events in track. Winning the 4x800m, taking 2nd in the 800m. yet still placing 5th in both the 400m and 4x400m. This year me and my teammates also held the school record in the 4x800m.
My senior year we won another Cross Country Championship, going back to back, I also secured the 5th fastest 5k time in my schools history. In the spring I was starting to be recruited by colleges, I was ready to prove I could be a collegiate athlete. I was all state in the 1600m taking 2nd, lead my team to a school record in both the 4x400m taking 2nd at sate, the Sprint Medley relay taking 3rd at state. and despite having an awful race still placing 7th individually in the 800m.
My first year of college I ran in Riverton at Central Wyoming College, I was 10th overall in my regain for cross country, working hard in the fall running 65-75 miles a week. I set personal records in every race I ran, from the 8k(27:50), 5k(16:44), 1600m(4:26), 800m(1:57), and 400m(49.83). I then transferred to University of Wyoming this last year and unfortunately fell out of love for the sport and decided to end my career.
