Taylor Barone

I am an experienced med surg nurse with 3 and a half years experience under my belt. I am successful in providing authentic and patient centered care to patients with a plethora of diagnoses. My job revolves around providing care with patient satisfaction and advocacy in mind. Prioritizing my tasks as well as appropriately delegating other tasks, I am well versed in having genuine connections with my patients and ensuring quality and exceptional care, as well as using my skill sets to ensure a safe and effective discharge plan is in place. I am a preceptor and mentor to new nurses and am confident in helping them find their place on the floor. With cancer very close knit in my family, I personally feel as though the environment would be a good fit for me. I am extremely caring, empathic, and soft with an innate desire to serve others. My eagerness to learn in this field and be able to help others battling life with cancer is important to me and my desire to give back to my community in Western New York.
