• Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, as a compounding technician, I work in a clean room, compounding medications at least 50% of the time to help ensure safe, accurate, and smooth compounding operations.

- Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with OCH policies & procedures, and in accordance with state regulations & standards.

- Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.

Site & Supplies/Equipment Maintenance

- Ensures pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods are cleaned and sanitized.

- Inspects equipment and documents any equipment failures or defects.

- Assists with recording and maintaining pharmacy temperature & cleaning logs.

• Support inpatient pharmacy operations under the supervision of licensed pharmacists in a regulated hospital environment.
• Prepare, compound, and distribute medications, including sterile products and specialty dosage forms, in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Accurately fill and deliver medication orders while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
• Maintain automated dispensing cabinet (Omnicell) inventory and ensure accurate stock levels across departments.
• Assist with inventory control, medication prepackaging, and departmental supply management.

• Processed and filled 100–200+ prescriptions daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Entered and verified patient and insurance data. Assisted with billing, insurance processing, and payment handling while ensuring documentation integrity.
• Managed pharmacy inventory, including restocking, medication preparation for shipment, and refill coordination.
