I am a motivated 19-year-old with tons of drive and energy. I have worked on a farm since I was young and got a job when I was 15 serving tables. I never looked back from that point. Having to work since a young age has made me ambitious and skilled. Talking to many people and doing many different tasks has taught me that I have a passion for talking to and helping people. I believe that I would be great for any job requiring skills of that sort. I am a people person and I have all the the work ethic, mindset, and skills to succeed in a sales position.
For my sales representative position, I would look for any homeowner, reality group, contractor, etc. to get in contact with and sell our service by using certain skills to win them over as a customer. I have learned many skills like negotiation, handling objections, communication, and many more. While doing technician appointments, I would also sell different service types to that customer if I could find a reason to do so. Finding reason to pitch a sale comes with knowing a customer or a problem that they have, this is an example of why it is important build relationships and trust. The pest technician position consisted of spraying for pests and bugs inside and outside of homes and commercial buildings. I would communicate with residents and workers, finding solutions to unique issues every day.
This job taught me how to truly work and to be disciplined. It was necessary for me to mature beyond the average 18 year old. I had to learn to have a routine which I learned is very important. Every day we were in the office at 6 and working by 7, not stopping until we got told we were done. This job required us to work meticulously at all times, we would often have mistakes of our own or from workers before us that we would have to find a way around. That specifically taught me that whatever the situation is there is always a way to improve the current state of the situation.
