As an Emergency Room Nurse Technician, I provide hands-on clinical and supportive care to patients across all levels of acuity, including trauma, critical illness, and end-of-life situations. My responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, performing EKGs, collecting specimens, assisting with wound care, splinting, and supporting nurses and physicians during procedures. I am trained to respond quickly to emergent conditions, help with patient stabilization, and maintain a clean and safe environment during rapid patient turnover.

In addition, I offer compassionate support to patients and families, assist with patient transport, monitor equipment, document patient information accurately, and communicate effectively with my team. Through these responsibilities, I help ensure efficient, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

As a Medical First Responder, I provide rapid, front-line emergency care to individuals experiencing medical crises before advanced medical personnel arrive. My responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, performing initial triage, administering basic life support measures, controlling bleeding, providing oxygen, using AEDs, and stabilizing injuries or medical conditions in accordance with established protocols.

I communicate effectively with dispatch and EMS crews. I also assist in safely transporting or preparing patients for transport, maintain readiness of equipment, and document all care provided accurately.
