I am a very skilled and experienced nanny. I grew up in my mother's daycare as a child and could practically run it by the age of 3 years old. Being that young and being around children is what lead me to choose nannying as a career. Being in the daycare I learned many skillsets, including organization, leadership, meal preps, fun and safe play, potty training and overall childcare. My mother taught me the importance of childcare at a very young age which is why I care for children the way I do. It is always my top priority that when children are in my care I am attentive, loving, caring and dependable. I enjoy forming relationships and bonds with children that they know I am a safe space. Being able to teach and help raise them is such a good feeling. Most of the children I have kept I started keeping them at a young age up into big kids. I would say I have a very welcoming spirit. I love to make every moment teachable and fun.
I also value having a great relationship with the parents so they know they can trust and depend on me.
I started as a babysitter mainly caring for their younger child while their older two were in school. I would play with him, fed him, put him down for naps. Over the summer I would have all three in my care, where I was responsible for feeding them, playing with them and even going fun places. Once the youngest started school I helped as as after school nanny. This included feeding picking up from school sometimes, feeding snack, helping with homework, playtime and taking to extracurricular activities.
I would work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week.
I still help as a occasional babysitter.
For this family I helped care for their two children, who were 2 and 4 years old when I began. I was a full time nanny, summer nanny and part time nanny for them. I was responsible for everything pertaining to the children. I would prepare meals for them, took care of their laundry, helped with homework, helped with school pickup and drop-off, school prep, extracurricular activities. Over the summertime I would travel with the children and family to Athens, I would take children to fun outings like the movies, bowling, ice cream, chick-fil-a, etc. I have also pet sat for them and done overnight care.
I would work a minimum of 35-40 hours a week.
I still help this family for occasional babysitting needs.
I was mainly placed wherever I was needed but my sole responsibility was to help with the flow of the store.
I helped the Gamble family with their two children who were 5 and 7 at the time I began. The parents traveled a lot for work so I was responsible for everything pertaining to the children. I helped to pick the children up from school, help with homework, give snack, take them to their extracurricular activities, feed dinner and prepare for bedtime. I worked in the summer take them to fun activities, birthday parties and I also helped on the weekends for the parents to have a night out.
I worked a minimum of 30-40 hours a week.
The mother got relocated to Mexico for work.
I helped assist children of different ages with gymnastics skills in group settings.
I love to organize rooms, drawers, closets, anything. I love to help plan parties. I am great at making goodie bags, serving food/cake, running around or being a chaperon or simply running errands to prepare for the party.
