Began as a yard attendant responsible for maintaining a clean and organized shop, pressure washing concrete pumps, trailers, and equipment, and preparing machinery for service and repair. Progressively took on mechanical responsibilities by assisting the shop mechanic with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems on concrete pump trucks and support equipment. Following the departure of the lead mechanic, assumed full responsibility for maintaining a fleet of seven concrete pump trucks, seven diesel service vehicles, and multiple concrete trailers with minimal supervision. Performed preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, major mechanical repairs, hydraulic line replacements, PTO rebuilds, boom repiping, electrical diagnostics, and emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Managed maintenance records, repair schedules, service documentation, parts ordering, and preventative maintenance planning while prioritizing daily workloads independently. Remained on call to respond to breakdowns, adjusted to constantly changing priorities, and utilized a personally owned set of professional-grade tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely.

Inspected, sorted, cleaned, and repaired propane cylinders to ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards before returning them to service. Operated propane filling equipment and paint systems while following strict safety procedures and maintaining accurate quality standards. Loaded and unloaded propane cylinders from delivery trucks onto conveyor systems in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment. Performed routine visual inspections to identify damaged, expired, or defective cylinders requiring repair or removal from service. Maintained an organized work area while consistently meeting production goals and working safely around pressurized equipment. Demonstrated reliability by working efficiently as part of a team while handling physically demanding tasks throughout each shift.

Worked alongside a general contractor performing residential construction, remodeling, and home repair projects while gaining hands-on experience across multiple trades.
