This role tested my ability to efficiently serve guest of all different races, nationality, and ethnicity. My main responsibility was to tend to the guest and see through to all their needs. Although servers are made out to have one of the easiest jobs, it can go from good to bad expeditiously. Many times my patience and anger were tested but that's apart of any job, luckily, I was able to handle all my situations professionally.

• Set up tables in between patrons to reduce wait times.
• Accurately recorded orders on cash register and point-of-sale system.
• Responded to ad hoc cleaning duties at end of shift.
• Enforced minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages by checking identification.
• Provided exceptional service to high volume of daily customers.
• Responded efficiently to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Completed cleaning duties by sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet and tidying up server stations.
• Checked with customers to determine satisfaction with meals, promptly taking action to correct problems.
• Explained menu options to guests, offered suggestions and took orders for food and beverages.
