
My main objective is to reflect my passions in life through my work ethic. I'm known to thrive in every company or business with the experience I have in problem solving, taking enormous pride in great service, and overall applying my intelligence and wisdom in all situations with ethical and lolgical decsion making at hand. I showed this work ethic while proudly serving my country in the United States Army and getting out with a honorable discharge.
My focus was on ensuring the safety and quality of food supplies for all Department of Defense activities, with a particular emphasis on the field and wartime environments. My duties were to Inspect food items (meat, poultry, water, etc.) to ensure they meet standards and are safe for consumption. I protected food from unintentional or intentional contamination by undergoing terrorist training and Assessed the potential for food security breaches and developing mitigation strategies. I performed superbly as a Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist while assigned to PHA-Hood, Veterinary Branch Fort Bliss. I enforced food protection plans and performed inspections of $300
million of subsistence annually at Fort Bliss and White Sands,
encompassing eight troop feeding facilities, 47 AAFES, 22 MWR, two commissaries, seven DFACs and a Troop Issue Subsistence Activity. I ensured the safety and wholesomeness of food destined for military, DoD civilians, and their Families, was never compromised.
FOR MERITORIOUS ACHIEVEMENT WHILE ASSIGNED AS A FOOD INSPECTION SPECIALIST OF VETERINARY BRANCH FORT BLISS. MY DEDICATION TO DUTY, PROFESSIONALISM, TECHNICAL COMPETENCE AND COMMITMENT, SIGNIFICANTLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE OVERALL MISSION SUCCESS. MY EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE WAS IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON MYSELF, PUBLIC HEALTH ACTIVITY-FORT HOOD, PUBLIC HEALTH COMMAND- CENTRAL, MEDICAL READINESS COMMAND, WEST, THE UNITED STATED ARMY MEDICAL COMMAND, AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
