• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Laboratory department programs, processes and activities, and ensure compliance with current regulations and guidelines by current local, state and government accrediting agencies.

• Supervises and administers Quality Assurance programs under direction of department administrative and medical directors to meet patient care and regulatory agency requirements.
• Facilitate and coordinate CAP inspection activities such as mock inspections for 26 hospital laboratories throughout West Florida Division to help facilities become inspection ready and compliant.
• Works with facility and department leaders to implement new programs monitor performance, collect and evaluate performance data, develop corrective action plans, and assist in training and education of personnel.
