Tegan Murray has been involved with renewable energy for years. In 2017 she was convinced to work for a commercial solar company based in New York where she started as a solar installer working with a crew of all men. Due to her speed and attention to detail, Tegan ended up being on the racking team where she attached the solar panels and was in charge of making sure that the panels were aligned correctly. (She later became a trainer for that specific racking company.) Her skills led her to become a DC wiring specialist and she managed all of the DC wiring on very large commercial projects. Her training is well rounded and she received her OSHA 30 certificate and is licensed to drive a telehandler. Through much hard work, Tegan became a site manager for commercial projects in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. To avoid the long commute and wanting to stay closer to her home and family in Rochester, Tegan now works mostly in Vermont and New Hampshire, but also often travels to Connecticut. She is currently working for four solar companies as a site manager or DC wiring expert and has started her own solar company. Tegan has taken her knowledge from the ground up and uses her real life experience when designing new projects or working on the permitting process.
Tegan is proud to have worked with seven solar companies and has participated in over 15 Megawatts of solar throughout the Northeast.
