Responsibilities:

• Perform XRD and XRF analyses on geological samples, including drill cuttings, cores, and outcrops, to determine mineralogy, lithology, and elemental composition.
• Identify key mineralogical properties, including clay content, carbonate concentration, and structural changes, to assess reservoir quality and mitigate drilling risks.
• Provide critical data to geologists and drilling engineers for reservoir evaluation, well planning, and operational decision-making.
• Delivered detailed reports and presentations summarizing analytical results, integrating findings with other geological and petrophysical data for comprehensive reservoir analysis.

Specialized in managing drilling fluid dynamics to ensure safe and efficient wellbore operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse drilling fluid behavior to detect and mitigate fluid losses or gains, ensuring well stability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (drilling supervisors, mud engineers, and geologists) to optimize wellbore pressure and prevent well control incidents.
• Ensure well operations remain within safe pressure windows, preventing formation damage and reducing non-productive time (NPT).
• Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations based on real-time data analysis to enhance operational decision-making.

• Integrating seismic, core, thin sections and wireline data of the Brent field, using Petrel for the purpose of quantifying net reservoir porosity to determine the viability of the reservoir unit
• Quantify the uncertainties of the net recoverable hydrocarbon reserves
• Building 2D reservoir model and a 3D facies architecture in the reservoir facies to estimate the ratio of preserved channel to overbank facies
• Estimate the proportion of channelised versus floodplain elements for the uppermost reservoir interval
