Project #1 – My Rewards

Description: This Project aims to distribute Monthly Rewards to end Users where related POC's can nominate. Leads can approve the nominations based on the no. of awards uploaded in the head count. This application has five flows, which includes enterprise ID validations. This includes Auto mailers to users and Remainder mailers.

• Analyzed business requirements, documented business requirements specifications, wrote Test plans, Test Cases.
• Worked with development team to understand technical design and architecture for test planning.
• Created and enhanced test scripts to handle changes in objects using Selenium
• Created test framework using Selenium for further test creation and execution. Prepared traceability matrix to ensure adequate coverage of test cases.
• Prepared required documentation for testing sign-off by various parties as required by project plans. Participated in weekly assessment meetings with business analysts and developers.
• Worked with version control tool such as Git. Assigned, Monitored and Tracked Tasks of Team Members in Azure devops.
• Updated Test Plans and Test Cases periodically to manage changes in requirements.
• Connected to database and done SQL for data verification and validation.
• Debugged test scripts, created batch tests, verified test results and reported defects using Azure Devops. Interacted closely with developers regarding defects, participated in tracking, reviewing and analyzing bugs.

Project #2 – Asset Reconciliation

Description : This is a application utilized by the Asset Team. Its primary purpose is to monitor assets assigned to employees. The application records weekly and monthly asset data, with the Asset Team obtaining confirmation from the designated asset point of contact (POC) and updating details accordingly. This process also involves several flows and conditions or validations and sending application-related mailers and reminder emails.

• Reviewed requirements and specifications and provided input during requirements and specification walkthrough. Analyzed system requirements specifications, developed test plans, test cases, and test data for testing the functionality, GUI, usability, user acceptance tests with both Positive and Negative Scenarios, especially focused on logical scenarios of the application.
• Created and updated test cases in Excel sheets and generate Traceability Matrix. Executed the test cases manually and automation as necessary and worked on XML.
• Created and executed SQL queries against Oracle database compared the results and analyzed discrepancies. Manually performed back end testing by writing SQL queries.
• Loaded data into Oracle using SQL loader and validated data.
• Performed database testing by passing PL/SQL queries and also executed the regression test cases before handed over to UAT.
• Created and verified GUI, bitmap, text and Database checkpoints, URL Links and synchronization points of the application.

Project – Power Automate

• Successfully completed a Power Automate project based on lead requirements to automate data retrieval from Excel with multiple sheets, which is updated daily in Share point.
• Implemented necessary transformations in Power Automate due to challenges in handling date types from Excel, converting them from numeric to date format using custom formulas to ensure accurate data representation.
• Developed and applied JSON formatting to style and structure email content, enhancing the readability and aesthetics of the information shared.
• Skillfully integrated functionality to dynamically fetch and include 'To' and 'Cc' recipients directly from Excel, concatenating and adding them to the email distribution list.
• It does not directly retrieve data from SharePoint Excel and incorporate it into the Power Automate email. Instead, it involves various conditions that determine actions such as modifying row text color based on specific conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving within Power Automate to overcome data type conversion issues and optimize the workflow for seamless execution.
• Contributed to increased efficiency and automation in data processing, reducing manual efforts and potential errors associated with data handling.
• Collaborated closely with stakeholders to understand and align the Power Automate solution with business requirements, ensuring a tailored and effective solution.
• Automated the generation of Power Automate emails, ensuring automatic creation and dispatch at specified times exclusively during weekdays.
• Programmed automated messages on Microsoft Teams to notify employees who initiated change requests that are still pending.

Project #3-Non-Standard Software

Description - This application, serves the purpose of submitting requests for the installation of software is not found on the software site. Requestors can initiate a request, aligning with client specifications, by choosing the relevant software from the provided list. The submitted request undergoes a series of approvals, culminating in final approval by the Tech team, enabling developers to proceed with the software installation.

• Analyzed business requirements and functional documents, created the test strategy document that define the test environment, phases of testing, entrance and exit criteria into different phases of testing and resources required to conduct the effort.
• Drafted test plan which included testing objectives, testing phases, scenarios and test environment after a thorough analysis of the business rules.
• Created manual test cases, reviewed with different stakeholders to validate the functionality. Coordinated with different Stake Holders to prepare user guide and knowledge acquisition of the system. Wrote PL/SQL Queries to retrieve the data from various Tables and to test the database.
• Performed the Back-End integration testing to ensure data consistency on front-end by writing and executing SQL statements.
• Conducted backend testing using SQL queries to validate data for database. Involved in manual testing and automated test scripts by using QTP. Performed Data Driven test for backend testing using with QTP.

Project#4-Bitlocker

Description: This application aims to retrieve the most recent BitLocker recovery key by integrating with various databases. In the event that a user forgets their password, they are required to contact the Tech team for recovery. The Tech team will then recover the key using the recovery password.

• Analyze Functional Requirements
• Implemented automated testing for web based applications.
• Involved in developing the test strategy and assisted in developing test plans, test case objectives and test cases.
• Created a Performance Report for the end to end testing in comparison with the baseline and final values.
• Execute the test cases.
• Link the Requirements with the test cases and check the test case coverage for the requirement.
• Log the defect in defect management.
• Linked the defect to the test case in the test lab which cycle the defect found etc.
• Walkthrough of testing scenarios with users to get feedback on any gaps we may have in our test cases.
• Designed test case, test procedures, test scenarios and updating them on SharePoint.

Project # 5- Complaint and Feedback

Description: The purpose of this application is to submit complaints and feedback regarding the services offered. It encompasses various types of complaint categories and flows

• Create and run test cases and Test strategy for both GUI & backend testing
• Analyze requirements and application flow and create Design and conceptual flow diagrams for end users.
• Involved in various testing methods like functional, non-functional, security etc.
• Performed data analysis and data profiling using SQL, PL/SQL.
• Verified request generating number and flow for end-end of the application.
• Verified Auto generated emails, Remainder mails and Escalation mailers.

Project # 6- Service Request Module (SRM)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Getting Knowledge Transfer from the Business Analyst about the System functionalities. Analyzing and understanding the Business Requirement.
• Involved in System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, E2E Testing.
• Prepared Test Cases and freezing the Test Cases by getting the approval from Leads.
• Extensively involved in writing and execution of SQL statements for back-end testing. Handled the given modules individually and completing the deliverables on time.
• Running the Batch Jobs at the End of the day and verifying the Result with the Expected Result.
• Verifying and tracking defects and retesting.
• Providing support for scheduled production releases.
• Backend testing manually using SQL Server. Inserting, Updating, Deleting, data type validations etc.
