I ensure all documents comply with all tasks required by contracts and specifications such as PMI (Planned Maintenance Interval); DIMPLE (Depot Integrated Maintenance Plan for Logistics and Engineering); engineering drawings/technical documents such as changes, bulletins, etc. I apply the use of technical directives as reference for REI’s sent to the Engineering Department for items such as material thickness of afterburner liner and case sub-components and correct hardware used to assemble to final a component. I am always self-motivated and quality conscious and encourage other artisans to strive for a quality process and product. I have knowledge of the fundamental concepts of reducing the occurrence of defects in the workplace. I verify production orders and work documents for traceable historical features, accuracy, adequate and current information, proper documentation of various technical directives, proper identification of artisan/certifier, and the proper documents for the work performed. I have the knowledge to audit and verify aircraft and engine logbooks, Scheduled Removal Component (SRC) Cards, Aeronautical Equipment Service Records (AESR’s) and Equipment History Records (EHR’s) for accuracy and completeness. I have the ability and knowledge to verify work for compliance with NAVAIR technical manuals, instructions, Airframe Changes and Bulletins, local engineering specifications, accessory changes, and current technical directives.
