While this was a short job my timekeeping and organization skills were really pushed to the limits and I became better at thinking on the spot and quickly dealing with issues.

Getting hired for this position was honestly a dream come true. Not only was I able to live on the lake for a summer but I was able to learn so many new skills that developed me as a person. My favorite would have to be all the non-violent communication tactics I learned.

• Through the work study program here at SUNY Oswego I was able to work with the wonderful staff in the advisement center and work on improving my multitasking skills
• Along with that came organizational and communications skills as well

• Through a local summer youth program I was selected to work with a small business, ACS Facility Services, in my hometown
• There I was able to practice learning skills including but not limited to, interviewing, creating schedules, organizing and paying company bills, teamwork, and resolving conflicts between employees

• During this amazing year I was a part of the Wegmans team working with others to help take care of carts and keeping the parking lots clean
• This was a very physical job as well as social as we constantly were in contact with members of the public
• A lot of patience and tolerance was expected of us workers and we all proved we were up to the job
• Teamwork and cooperation were also a major part in this position to ensure everything ran smoothly

• Once again through a local summer work program, I was selected to work at the town's local youth center
• There I worked a lot of local kids ensuring they were taken care of and getting along with each other
• This was during Covid so it included a lot of cleaning, cooking, organizing, as well as time management, teamwork with coworkers, and communication skills with not only coworkers but also the kids and their parents
