o Knowledge of all NHC Insurance Benefit plans including eligibility, enrollment, benefits, premiums, and deductions. Must be able to review and understand benefits claim payments and relay detailed explanations as needed
o Keep all participant personal information and protected health information confidential. Abide by all department procedures to maintain the confidentiality of protected personal and health information
o Provide excellent customer service whether in person or telephonically
o Be familiar with applicable COBRA and conversation rights
o Understand, initiate, and aid in filing life and disability claims
o Invoice employers accurately and promptly for insurance premiums as scheduled
o Assist with benefits/health fairs, annual enrollment, etc.
