Tera Trambaugh

While working as a floor nurse at a long-term care psychiatric facility I have many responsibilities including assessing mental health and practicing crisis intervention and stabilization. I coordinate care with psychiatrist, physician, and other healthcare professionals. I serve as an advocate for residents for their medical and mental health needs. I record all medications, treatments, and behaviors and any changes in health conditions. I serve an important role in developing and implementing treatment plans, administering medications and monitoring their effects.

Work as a floor nurse on a post acute rehabilitation unit caring for patients with recent surgeries or acute accidents that required rehabilitation before discharged to home. I started and maintained IVs, administered medications and developed and implemented treatment plans. Worked closely with therapist and physicians to coordinate care.

Worked as charge nurse and Interm DON in a long term care facility. I administered medications and treatments to resident per facility policies. I worked closely with physicians, therapist, and other management members to provide a safe and healthy environment for all residents.
