Responsible for managing the club's financial reporting, accounting, auditing & payroll. Oversee the accounting, financial & payroll functions of the club. Prepare monthly financial statements and summaries and reports for the General Manager, Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors. Work with the General Manager, and assist in the preparation and implement the annual budgets; implement policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets and related activities and records.

• Responsible to oversee financial reporting, accounting, financial statements & financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
• Coordinate with auditors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and financial statements
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial analysis and guidance to business leaders
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to support the company's growth and strategic objectives
• Oversee risk management activities, including internal controls, audit planning, and fraud prevention
• Participate in investor relations activities, such as earnings calls, investor meetings, and conferences
• Firm grasp of GAAP including implementation experience with ASC606 and ASC842
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards & regulatory requirements, including SOX & SEC rules & regulations

• Maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures
• Working on inventory and sales tax with regards to new Wayfair act
• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
• Spotting errors and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
