I started with Sunridge Adult Foster Home in 2014 as a caregiver, I worked 48 hr shifts where I soly took care of 5 residents. I did everything from medication, hands on care, assisting with hospice care, to cooking and cleaning. I became the resident manager toward the end of 2015, at that time I also took on all the paperwork, ordering of supplies and medications, managing staff, as well as interviewing and selecting new residents for 2 adult foster care homes. We opened a second home in 2017 that I also overseen as a resident manager. I worked closely with Oregon DHS for Aging and People with Disabilities to ensure both Sunridge Adult Foster Care Homes were in compliance with state regulations. In my time with Sunridge we always kept and a warm, loving, and well structured home for the residents we cared for.
