Summary

I am applying for this position because I love creating digital content for my store. I have been doing it since the very first time I saw the article on the Wire about using the Facebook Tool. More than creating the content, I love the engagement it brings with Associates and Customers. I love to be able to make someone's day and make them feel important. I have felt a need to take it a step further and help other Social Champs. I recently visited a Social Champ in Illinois to make some content with him and interview him. It was one of my best experiences. I would like to do more of that and encourage the ones that are making the content. I would love to work on further developing the program and making it better for them. I want to be there for the Social Champs to help them with whatever problems or difficulties they are facing. It's not about me, it's about all of them. I love my Social Champ Team and I want to do more for them.

My Local Social is so important because more and more we will have fewer customers coming into our stores. Already, we have many that only do online shopping. We do not want to miss that personal connection with them. Social Media is the way for us to communicate with them and keep that connection and that conversation going.
