As a general volunteer at the Susannah Wesley Community Center in Kalihi throughout high school, I was handling a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. I would volunteer for the big events the center would host and help out with any task that was needed of me from interacting with community member at public health screenings of setting up and breaking down for an event. I came in on weekends to help refurbish the campus and do regular maintenance work such as fixing and maintaining office amenities.

As an intern for D.R. Horton Hawaii, I was hired as a purchasing intern but was able to get lots of experience in every department of the company all the way from the land team in the field, to sales and the internal mortgage service. I participated in meeting with supply vendors, worked in the field to solve-building issues, and developed excel skills to compile and process bids. This experience equips me with a wholistic perspective of the development industry and the building process of a major general contractor.
Working in the Servco Parts warehouse, I worked closely with a variety of different people in specialized roles and observes the various moving parts of a warehouse operation. I learned and performed all warehouse processes to include receiving, picking and delivery of orders. I have also learned all inventory transactions to include cycle counting, bin maintenance and investigation of discrepancies.

As a truck driver for Bay Laurel Catering, I was responsible for transporting event supplies to and from event locations. I also was tasked with waiting on event guests, setting up, and cleaning of events.
I was regularly responsible for preparing Susannah Wesley”s open food pantry during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as planning and operating different parts of their section 8 housing sign-up event.
I planned an entire supply drive to help generate toiletry goods for the homeless population out in Waianae. I advertised for the toiletry drive by making digitally designed posters, collected, and distributed the goods myself in partnership with the Maili land transitional housing program in Waianae.
Served as a teaching assistant for a cyber success program that works to teach underprivileged youth how to use computers as well as how to build them. I gave instructional demonstrations, provided hands-on direction, and helped plan the curriculum.
