Worked in different office locations multitasking answering phones, making reservations, checking campers in and out of campgrounds in various sites at different campgrounds. Taking payments, pulling all reservations made online and creating folders for future reservations. On a daily basis had to change reservations, refund payments, take money for future reservations for multiple sites and sometimes multiple campgrounds. While making these reservations making sure to keep within the Army Corp of Engineer's policies and guidelines for not over extending allowed number of days per reservation. Keeping track of all vehicles coming and going inside the parks by getting all license plate numbers, and keeping up with number of people per site along with tours, and where each guest is going. Handling all issues that arise with our camphosts and making sure that all guests are happy and taken care of. Working in the office also requires to know some maintenance work inside the parks with power boxes if breakers are needing new breakers or if camper is not utilizing the necessary equipment you need to camp using diesel pushers, class c motorhomes, travel trailers and or bumper pulls to small pop-ups. Knowing how to shut water off to each site as well as knowing when to report certain issues to the appropriate chain in command. Making sure that all restrooms inside the park is clean and fully stocked by talking to your camphosts. Making sure every camper is checked in and has map of the park, and has current gatecode to get in after hours. Placing courtesy calls to get ETA and making sure to leave detailed voicemail messages for after hours.
