- At Beastie Bestie, I have worked to engage the community, network with fosters and donors, organize events, and promote fundraising efforts. I have also gotten a lot of hands-on experience in caring for the animals, themselves. Working for a non-profit has been very rewarding; especially in a capacity where I have gotten to help the animals themselves; however the hours are inconsistent to a point where I am now looking for other work to supplement or replace my stream of income.

- LoveThyBeast is an upscale retail boutique for pets and their owners. LoveThyBeast prides themselves on offering excellent customer service; and an intimate shopping experience. In addition to my regular customer service duties; as the manager, it is my job at LoveThyBeast to open and close the store (as the keyholder), as well as count the tills. Additionally, I am responsible for creating the schedule, delegating tasks to my employees, checking in and receiving shipments, and doing inventory. I am also responsible for resolving whatever issues my employees cannot solve on their own; from settling customer disputes, to resolving issues with the credit card company, to adjusting the inventory.

- Next to Nature is a boutique pet store, specializing in holistic foods, treats, and supplements. During my time working at Next to Nature, I received a comprehensive education on topics related to the health and wellness of dogs and cats; namely nutrition. In my capacity at Next to Nature, I was trained as the Assistant Manager, and weekend Shift Leader. In these roles, it was my responsibility to assist the owner on weekdays, and take over as sole leader on the weekends; performing much the same responsibilities as I currently perform at LoveThyBeast- creating schedules, delegating tasks, receiving inventory, etc. I left Next to Nature when I moved from Seattle to New York, at the beginning of the year.
