Mr. Tran serves as the Director of the Landscape Architecture Department at The WLB Group, an LJA Company, where he oversees the design, management, and execution of a broad range of landscape architectural projects. With more than 35 years of professional experience, he brings a depth of expertise in site design, project management, and construction coordination across both public and private sectors. In his current role, Mr. Tran is responsible for supervising landscape designers, delegating tasks effectively, ensuring quality assurance throughout the design process, and reviewing plans, specifications, and technical drawings for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Tran’s career is distinguished by his work in municipal parks, trail systems, streetscapes, and community recreation facilities. His approach blends functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics, resulting in environments that not only meet the technical and regulatory demands of public infrastructure but also provide meaningful, beautiful, and inclusive user experiences. He has guided projects from conceptual planning through construction completion, ensuring that each stage aligns with client goals, budget expectations, and environmental context.
As a leader in the field, Mr. Tran works closely with municipalities, public agencies, and stakeholder groups to ensure project success through open communication, collaborative problem-solving, and thorough documentation. He is adept at facilitating public outreach processes, incorporating community feedback into design iterations, and addressing diverse user needs, including accessibility and long-term maintenance requirements for project upkeep.
