My job in the army was a 91H or track vehicle mechanic working on light track vehicles m113a3 FOVs as well as bigger tracks such as the m88a2 HERCULES.

I eventually became the team chief of my section and ran the shop floor as well as trained junior enlisted mechanics on the operation a maintenance of our tracks.

Im also certified by the army to operate and maintain the m88a2 in recovery operations or H9 i was in charge of the S&R section as well of the maintenance making sure of safe operations on missions and tasks whether it was towing other heavy tracks or safely conducting a roll over or a winch recovery with the proper tools

My job duties were residential apprentice

pulling wire and doing rough ins per the blueprint, building temp service poles and the homes underground or overhead service panels, trim outs installing devices and switches, lights, fans hooking up ac units and installing breakers making up interior homes panels. Final out after power is on come and inspect making sure all equipment works properly.


Most of my experience was on new building projects with me eventually getting a company vehicle and sent on service calls and new projects.


  • Worked under supervision of journeyman electrician to learn trade and develop electrical knowledge.
  • Terminated wiring and connected circuits with correct techniques.
  • Gained proficiency in operating various power tools such as drills, saws, crimpers, and wire strippers for efficient completion of electrical tasks.
